"We had the Assiette starter and the Chataubriand - both were absolutely FANTASTIC.
I have never had such a fine meal, and I eat out a lot!"

"Had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Greggs Restaurant where I took a group of 10 friends to celebrate my birthday. They had followed my instructions on seating left on answer phone and made the table look lovely. The tempreture and lighting were perfect. The staff were attentive and helpful to the right degree, the food was delicious and beautifully presented with a good selectioin on the set menue. They allowed us as much time as we liked between courses. It was a Thursday evening and there were a few others in the restaurant, but we were able to enjoy our evening without any pressure to leave whatsoever. - as other couples had long gone by the time we got to the end of our mains, we had the restaurant to ourselves. We did eventually get out the door at 11.30, having arrived at 7.30.! On wine, I think the wine recommeded, on their wine list which I had studied on line (it has a little heart by it) - Moon Valley Chilian Sauvignon Blanc and the Merlot were great choices and NOT too expensive. People really commented on them - and as I'm not a wine buff, I was very pleased with this choice. . The chefs special of Venison was superb and the set menue which runs from Tuesday to Thursday was very good value for the quality. I chose Greggs above the Vine because I knew I wouldn't be disappointed and was confident with their quality of food and standard of service having been there in the past. Thank you Greggs for making it a memorable and delightful evening."

I am sure you will get some return visits from some of our guests, including ourselves.
Again, Many Thanks"

Awards for the Third Year in a Row!
The news about our continued success was featured in the Sevenoaks Chronicle:
A Sevenoaks restaurant has been awarded two AA rosettes for the third year running. Greggs Restaurant, on the High Street, which is the only restaurant in town to have obtained the coveted cooking distinction once, let alone three times, is owned and run by Gavin and Lucinda Gregg. The establishment has earned two AA rosettes for providing food which demonstrates "innovation, greater technical skill and more consistency and judgement in combining and balancing ingredients."
Mr Gregg, who said the business had not been an overnight success, plans to open an outside eating area next spring. "Over the years my passion for food has not diminished," he said. "Our quest for excellence is on-going."
