Cookery classes at gavin gregg restaurant
Need to brush up on your culinary skills or just enjoy learning to cook new dishes?
We have the perfect professional and fun way to do so....
Starting at 10.30am with tea or coffee and homemade biscuits, Head Chef Gavin Gregg will run a 3 course demonstration followed by a 2 course lunch (dishes demonstrated) . The day will finish @ 3.00pm. £45.00 per person.
Our proposed dates for these classes are:-
• WEDNESDAY 13TH OCTOBER - Poached free range chicken ballontine with jerusalem artichokes and glazed figs, pan seared cod fillet with dill and caper crust, mint and pea puree, roasted new potatoes. Demo inlcudes: prep of artichokes, pea puree, chicken ballontine, cod fillet and crust.
•WEDNESDAY 10TH NOVEMBER - Braised haunch of Chart farm venison, roasted root vegetables, braised red cabbage, parsley pomme puree, crispy potato gallette, Chocolate fondant with espresso ice cream, homemade biscotti. Demo includes: prep of venison haunch, pomme puree, crispy potato gallette, red cabbage, chocolate fondant, ice cream and biscotti.
